The Kohala Center Wins Small Business Success Award

At an awards ceremony at the Hawai’i Prince Hotel in Honolulu on Thursday, February 2, 2012 it was announced that The Kohala Center is the winner of the Hawaii Business Magazine’s Small Business Success Award in the Nonprofit Category. The independent judges picked The Kohala Center because they felt it is a well-run and effective nonprofit. The Kohala center builds teaching and research programs for energy an food self-reliance as well as ecosystem health.
